This a complete list of modern, design and experience-focused boutique hotels within a 3-hour drive of New York City. Over the past few months, I’ve compiled a lot of my own research and wanted to make a resource for everyone. Often we read of the “10 best getaways upstate” and that’s great for marketing and PR-BS. I wanted THE LIST of them all — and there’s a lot.

I’ve found that there’s no definitive source list of all the new and beautiful hotels that have blossomed over the past 8 years.
